“Over the years my focus has transitioned more and more toward the fleeting beauty that surrounds us daily. My primary goal through the interpretation in paint of my observations of nature is to allow the viewer a moment of respite in the bustle of our days: to celebrate the brilliance of color, get lost in the airiness of the sky, or bask in the quietude of our open spaces.” Painting professionally since 1999, Alyson Kinkade’s artwork is widely collected & exhibited throughout the U.S. She holds a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute. In 2002 Southwest Art magazine listed Alyson as one of the “top 21 artists under 31”. In September 2005 Southwest Art published her first feature editorial, and 2010 brought an editorial from American Art Collector Magazine. Alyson continues to create new works from her Loveland, Colorado studio.
