"Curvaceous Catfish" Wildlife Sculpture by Tim Cherry
24x12x10" edition of 18, 2016
“I started over 20 years ago on a path to discover my expression in art as it is related to my first love, wildlife, and I continue that journey every day. My work depicts wildlife through the simplest lines, shapes and designs... that I can create without losing representation, gesture or attitude. I push the limits of anatomical accuracies in order to emphasize a stronger design, finding myself interpreting representational shapes and pushing them to boundaries of near abstraction."
